As a second-generation family owner, Matt grew up in the alarm industry and worked several positions at Hoffman Security in High School. After receiving his MBA from The University of Arkansas, Matt returned to Hoffman in 1999 and rose to the CEO position in 2000. His day-today tasks include overseeing the Operations of Hoffman Security and is very involved throughout the company.

Today, Matt is active in the security industry and serves on several boards including as the Northern California Vice President for the California Alarm Association. Matt has also served locally as a former President of Merced Boosters, Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary Club.

Outside of Hoffman Security, Matt spends his time outside of work playing volleyball, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his wife Andrea, and their two children.
